Maximillion Cooper, often referred to as simply ‘Max,’ is the English born entrepreneur, skateboarder, race car driver and founder of the Gumball 3000. Born June 7, 1972 in Stone, Staffordshire, England.
Personal Relationships: Max married his business partner and girlfriend Julie Brangstrup in 2003. They had 4 kids together and subsequently were divorced in 2010.
In 2014 he married longtime girlfriend and renowned rapper Eve (Eve Jihan Jeffers) at the final pit stop of the 2014 Gumball in Ibiza, Spain.
Education: He attended Central Saint Martins art school in London, England from (1990-1993) and then graduated with a law degree from University of Sussex in the UK.
Career: Max has had careers in skateboarding, fashion design and as a model walking runways for brands such as Ralph Lauren and Armani. He also had a short stint as a professional race car driver. In 1999 he founded the Gumball 3000 Limited Company, a global lifestyle brand that centers around an annual 3000-mile car rally. He is also the CEO and Creative Director of the Gumball 3000 Group, a collection of companies that includes Gumball 3000 Apparel, Gumball 3000 Entertainment, Gumball 3000 Licensing and the Maximillion Cooper Limited, a creative consulting agency.
